What are the priorities in the planning of your neighborhoods and cities? You are invited to contribute to our research on Solar Neighborhoods.

This survey has been developed in the framework of the International Energy Agency - Solar Heating and Cooling Programme Task 63 "Solar Neighborhood Planning".
Solar Neighborhoods are urban areas planned to address not only the production of renewable energy (solar thermal technologies and photovoltaics), but also the health and well-being of their inhabitants (appropriate daylight level and solar access, outdoor thermal comfort). As such, Solar Neighborhoods are increasingly important to achieve net zero energy districts and low carbon cities.
💬 The survey aims to identify the priorities in the design and implementation of Solar Neighborhoods and the most relevant related benefits.
You will be asked to rate the relevance of aspects related to the major challenges faced nowadays by urban areas: climate change, environmental aspects, resource management, social aspects, and economic aspects.
⏰ It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

🔆 Curious to know more about Task 63?
Task 63 is a four-year international project that aims to support developers, property owners, architects, urban planners, municipalities, and other key players to achieve Solar Neighborhoods, resulting in sustainable and healthy environments.
Around 65 experts based in 11 different countries, ranging from Canada and Sweden to China and Uganda, are taking part to the project. The relevant topics under discussion include solar planning strategies and concepts, economic strategies and stakeholder engagement, solar planning tools, taking also advantage of lessons learned from successful projects.
